Leveling Straegies

Hi all. Just want to share my experience on what I think is the best strategy to achieve my aims.

1. Max gourmet pts (GP)
2. Max cash (comes alongside GP)
3. As high pop as humanly possible
(these 3 are aimed at maximizing profits which is partially determined by customer satisfaction (thumbs up))
4. I do not bother whether 100% of my customers are satisfied or not.
5. I only want to manage my workers once they reach 80% health, and one time only

Firstly there are several factors critical to achieving my aims.

1. Functional layout of my restaurant
2. Human traffic in my restaurant

details

1. Tables (T)
2. Chairs (CH)
3. Stoves (S)
4. Doors (D)
5. Waiting chairs (WCH)
6. Arcades (A)
7. Toilets (T)
8. Layout of tables, chairs, stoves, waiters and cooks.

Cooks (C), waiters (W)

I used the typical 2x island layout that many people use for the 8 employee state.
It is split 3C-1W, 3C-1W as per normal. There should be 9 tables as the optimum ratio of cooks to tables are 1:3, and a 1:1 table chair ratio.

Arcade: used when the number of customers that enter your restaurant EXCEEDS your restaurant capacity to serve them. This theoretically should not happen as I am following the optimum C: T ratio. Even there are times where customers leave your restaurant because they wait too long. It is a seldom event. Roughly 1/20 costs. 5%.

Toilets: customers require using e toilet after eating. When they fail to use it after their meal, I gain the GP and $ for the meal, but I do not get a thumbs up or down. (Pop remains e same)

waiting chairs: useful when customers enter your restaurant but are unable to find a seat at the table. This increases the TOTAL time they wait for their TURN AT THE TABLE.

Doors: for me. I tested the results of using 1 door, in e middle of e rest, with 2 waiting chairs on each side of e door. It caused my pop to (at one time) drop to 49.6.

Mazing: not necessary for a layout with sufficient waiters to clear plates fast enough.
Now for the reasons on why I used a particular amt of items.

4 waiting chairs.
This enabled me to obtain the maximum number of people waiting for chairs and tables at the same time. A common error would be that u has too many waiting chairs. And one whole row of customers just stand and all leave at the same time giving u 10 thumbs down.

2 doors.
Enables me to have the optimum flow of customers in and out of my restaurant. Not simply having 1 door would allow customers to come in at different timings, due to the difference in distance they travel from the left and right sides of e pavement to the left door and the right door.

0 arcades
I believe arcades only take away your potential customers that contribute to your GP and $. It’s a tradeoff u are deciding between pop, and GP & $. With pop as below, I think it is almost fully maximized thus I do not need to use arcades. Furthermore arcades take away customers waiting for seats. This causes your cooks to be idle for longer periods of time which reduce your GP & $ income.
