How to earn and save LOTS of money! by JP
This is a reply to a thread asking how to earn money. So I thought of writing my very first guide! This is very simple, if u do not already know, spend a minute to go thru it, u will notice a huge difference in your income.
HOW TO EARN AND SAVE LOTS OF MONEY!
Lets use an example of 8 workers (works for any number of workers, but 8 workers are most expensive to maintain if u like to feed ur workers)
1. U start the day with 6 healthy workers at 100% and 2 dead workers at 0% (reason for this will be explained at the end)
2. Feed both your workers each a sandwich($200x2) and ur restaurant is now ready to be open! Assign cooks/waiters/cleaner and open ur doors =)
3. After approx 36 minutes, your workers will begin to fall below 80% health. They have been working for too long and are beginning to feel less enthusiastic! It is time to close your restaurant. Block ur restaurant doors.
4. 4. Put all your workers to rest, except for 2 (a cook and a waiter). These 2 are the unfortunate 2 that will be looking after your restaurant while generating a small cash flow of income while the rest go to sleep. But for the magic to happen, u mustn't supervise them, leave them alone and go out to the streets.
5. Make sure you go to the streets, DO NOT enter your restaurant for 12 minutes. Either visit your friends restaurants to look at their layouts, search for some ingredients to trade, or pick up some rubbish for some of your lazy friends. After 12 minutes, reenter your restaurant.
6. Your 2 hardworking workers have generated you some recently earned money. It should total up to about $400. These 2 workers' healthbars should show around 75%. The other 6 of your workers should be fully rested and have 100% health bars now.
7. Feed both your workers from 75% up to 100% again.(This will cost you $60x2 for 2 glasses of water, but is fully covered as they have earned $400 while u were away =) You are now ready to reopen your restaurant! Assign your cooks/waiters/cleaner and open your doors.
8. Rinse, Repeat from step 3. You will earn about 20k a day if u play for a reasonable amount of hours. At the end of your day, when u block ur restaurant doors and before you go to sleep, assign 2 unfortunate workers (one cook one waiter) again to do the dirty job of staying up, and put the other 6 workers to rest. Save and exit.
9. Next morning, u will have generated a recently earned cash of $2000. The 2 workers who stayed up all night would have fainted, and 6 other workers would have rested well enough to start a new day at full 100% bars. Go back to Step 1.
Some facts u should know is
* You can only earn a maximum of $2000 while not supervising ur business (ie. Sleeping at night, Exited your internet browser, and yes even When u are on the streets)
* You gain much more money and Gourmet Points when u are supervising your business.
* Leaving 2 workers up at night (1 cook 1 waiter) when u sleep, is no different to leaving 8 workers up at night (watever ratio u use) as the maximum amount of money u earn offline is only $2000
* Lastly, u earn money even when u block ur doors, as long as u leave at least 2 workers (1 cook 1 waiter) in the restaurant, AND NOT SUPERVISE them. U must be in the streets or closed the internet browser altogether (minimising will not do).
